Position Purpose
The Nurse Supervisor is a leader in the Vivent Health Medical Center providing direct nursing care, supervision, guidance and professional development to the nursing staff. The Nurse Supervisor, along with the Medical Director of Healthcare Services and in collaboration with the Vice President of Medical Affairs and Vice President of Operations will lead the effort to provide high quality, patient-centered nursing care for our patients. The Nurse Supervisor, in collaboration with other medical clinic staff, develops and maintains standards of care, protocols, policies and procedures and manages day-to-day operations of the clinic, including phlebotomy, medical assistants and temporary staff.
The Nurse Supervisor has the responsibility to ensure the delivery of the highest quality nursing care to clinic patients. The Nurse Supervisor supervises and evaluates the medical assistants, phlebotomy staff and the nursing staff to ensure the standardization of quality nursing practices across all Medical Center sites; assures an efficient schedule and smooth clinic flow, participates in providing sound financial management of the Medical Center including revenue generation; and helps develop quality patient education through collaboration with other professional staff and community resources.**This is a Full-Time Monday-Friday position with no nights, weekends, on-call or holiday hours.**
